The first Monday in September is Labour Day. \u00a0It is a public holiday in Canada. \u00a0In Tatamagouche (and most other areas in Canada) it is traditional to have a parade on this day.<\/p>\n
At 12 o clock the parade started. \u00a0We had front row seats (outside the house we are now staying in) along with 2 Labrador puppies (Ebony and Rebel) that we were walking for a friend of ours. \u00a0The parade had floats from a lot of the local businesses as well as community groups, although the main presence was the fire brigade. \u00a0They came from all over the area in different engines to join in.<\/p>\n
