{"id":213,"date":"2011-11-27T14:54:04","date_gmt":"2011-11-27T14:54:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thebigmove.ca\/?p=213"},"modified":"2011-11-30T15:46:10","modified_gmt":"2011-11-30T15:46:10","slug":"days-47-51","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thebigmove.ca\/?p=213","title":{"rendered":"Days 47 &#8211; 51"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It was an eventful week on the house build last week. \u00a0A lot happened and changed in a short space of time. \u00a0All of the internal walls on the ground floor were marked out and the framing for the outside was started. Over the course of a couple of days the outside walls were put up &#8211; which really gave us a feel for the how the inside was going to be. \u00a0We went into where living room is going to be and were confronted with this huge framed hole in the wall. \u00a0This was going to be our window. \u00a0We knew it was a big window but didn&#8217;t comprehend just how big until we saw the gap for it.<\/p>\n<p>After the outside framing was up, the weather decided to change and it snowed (see Proper Snow post). \u00a0This didn&#8217;t stop the work though. \u00a0They started to put up the sheeting for the side of the house on the day it was snowing. \u00a0The next day, after spending 2 hours shoveling the snow out of the house, they built the staircase down to the basement (no more climbing in through windows \ud83d\ude42 ). \u00a0Finally on the Friday, the garage started to emerge.<\/p>\n<p>So, there was a lot of progress last week. \u00a0We have been told that the plan for next week is to get the same amount done &#8211; and a bit more \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\nngg_shortcode_0_placeholder\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It was an eventful week on the house build last week. \u00a0A lot happened and changed in a short space of time. \u00a0All of the internal walls on the ground floor were marked out and the framing for the outside was started.
