The Big Move

Today I held my first ever craft party.  I invited a small group of friends from the village to come and see my work and to partake in some card making if they wished.  Everything that was out on the tables was also for sale 🙂

The party went really well.  I had some very positive feedback and sold quite a lot of cards, mainly Christmas ones, and also some tree decorations that I had made. I am looking forward to hosting another one after the new year – towards march time I think. I may even try my luck at the farmers market here in the village on a Saturday.  That starts again in February.

Today is the only work day on our house this week as our contractor has a roof to fit on his other project.  This morning the roof trusses were delivered and were craned up to the second floor.  It looks like a huge jigsaw puzzle, with some rather odd shaped pieces.

By the end of the day the trusses were up on the great room.

Also the chimney had progressed a bit more.
